Apartment with Green and Pink Hues

Architecture and interior design practice Reutov Design has proposed a brightly colored, Mexican-inspired apartment in New York City. Featuring terracotta pink and green hues, the interiors seem to be taken out of an instagram post, where designer furniture meets a cactus-infused landscape.

For this apartment proposal in New York, Reutov Design referenced traditional architectural elements of Mexico. Guests are welcomed through a pastel green door that opens up to a bi-tone interior featuring mostly green and pink — green for the flooring and some columns while pink is used on the walls and ceiling. The softness of these two pastel shades translates into the furniture which is made mostly of bulbous shapes. From a bubbly roche bobois green sofa to Michael Anastassiades minimal lamps, the design of this apartment takes careful consideration of every single detail. Terrazzo counters and gradient walls are other of the design elements that make up the space.
